Christmas Eve Cityscape 2015
I learned while working in the center of Greenland with the Discovery Channel that a low sun positioning can cause major mood swings in people. Scientists believe that this is caused by the interaction of light with the humans "third eye", the pineal gland.
During winter in the northern hemisphere the sun remains low and often it disorients people. This image was taken at 1:30pm on Christmas Eve. I have walked this pavement a thousand times but on this day I barely recognized it.
