The centre of Greenland is like the moon. Its a vast lifeless nothingness and as such has its own beauty. The cost of transporting equipment to its interior is often more than it costs to replace it. Here an abandoned relic of a past exploration stands guard as a lonely testament to the men and women who stood there at an earlier time.
