The Place Vendome Paris where public art is often on display. I shot this photograph on a cold November day in 2001. This place just oozes with history. It was originally laid out in 1702 by architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart. He really knew how to work with space. Paris never disappoints the photographer. I think the city was designed by an art director with a great sense of lighting.
