Inflating Zeppelin 2008

Inflating Zeppelin 2008

There is a famous saying in filmmaking, "hurry up and wait!" When you are shooting in the field sometimes you spend hours in your trailer waiting for the next set up or the light to change. I prefer to roam the set with my camera during these times.

A cameraman shoots "B roll" footage of a zeppelin inflating with helium during the making of the Discovery Channel's "Project Earth". This image has a dreamy flowing feeling as the nylon is still not tight with gas and everything feels fluid.

Limited 16" X 24" print signed edition of 8. Printed on museum standard archival medium mounted in a 26.5" X 34.5" hand made frame.
