The Kourion amphitheater is a mystical place in Cyprus. My Dad George was an official in the ILO so I spent some of my youth with my family in the 1960's living in Nicosia, Famagusta and Kyrenia: all ancient Cypriot Mediterranean cities. I revisit Cyprus as often as I can. It always feels like home. I took this image recently of a German tourist walking the top step of the threater just as a cloud come over the stone horizon. I love the intensity of the strong sunlight.
