Title: Rocket Launch, 2007
A rocket lifts off on a RAF base in Northern England. Seconds later the second stage would fail and it came crashing back to earth reminding me that when you are making television S&%^ happens! I have always liked the intrusion of the rocket technology against the pastel colored rolling hills of Northern England. The rocket clearly does not belong there. After this shoot was over and the sun was setting, thousands of sheep stopped grazing and lay down on the warm black tarmac to sleep for the night on the only road out of this location. We were delayed for hours moving them so our trucks could roll. The British sheep were not pleased!
