Title: Original Zenit E, 1970

A Zenit-E Russian built SLR Camera. I bought this camera with the money I earned washing trucks in 1970. It was my first camera. It was rudimentary by today's standards but it helped me learn the basics of exposure, aperture and focus that have served me well for decades. I wish I still owned it but I had to sell it to a friend so that I could buy better equipment. This is one, if not the first image I ever took with a 35mm SLR, processed and printed myself. It was the beginning of a long love affair with image making.
